Epson International Pano Awards 2012 announced!
Apollo has again sponsored a Motorhome holiday prize for The EPSON International Pano Awards. This award is dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. Advances in digital photography and software such as PTGui, Adobe Photoshop, Kolor Autopano and Easypano Panoweaver has resulted in an explosion in image stitching, especially in the panoramic format.
The EPSON International Pano Awards showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest competition for panoramic photography.
2012 is the third year of the competition, and with a prize pool over US$30,000, it attracted 3853 entries submitted from 893 photographers in 55 countries.
The standard was high, with 60 Gold awards, 214 Silver awards, and 2,877 Bronze awards achieved.
The overall Open winner was Craig Bill from the USA, for his stunning image of a spectacular storm.
Sergey Semenov from Russia took out the overall Amateur prize which included Apollo´s Motorhome holiday in which he can choose form a self-drive trip in USA, NZ or AU. He submitted an amazing aerial photograph of Central Park in New York.
The VR/360 competition was won by Eric Herrmann of the USA for his wonderful ‘movie style’ image called ‘The Chase’

2012 International Pow Wow held in Los Angeles
This industry travel show is held annually in the USA and this year it is being held in Los Angeles, California. This 5day tradeshow showcases tourism operators in the US and promotes the USA as a travel destination. This year Apollo will be attending to showcase our great line of US vehicles as well as introducing the newest brand to the Apollo family "Star RV". We are looking forward to promoting our Australian owned and operated company to the US market and making a great impression. |

Apollo Wins 5th Q400 Award for Top Tourism & Hospitality Company
Apollo Motorhome Holidays has won its 5th Q400 award for Top Tourism & Hospitality Company at the Queensland Business Review´s Q400 Awards 2011.
The awards were held in Brisbane, Australia on November 25th and there to accept was Apollo CEO Luke Trouchet - “Winning this award points to the amazing efforts of our team,” Mr Trouchet said.
With the fleet being expanded in 2012 to include 3 brand new vehicle types and upgrades to the current fleet, the Apollo team are looking forward to a very exciting year ahead.

Apollo Motorhomes Opens New Denver Branch
Apollo Motorhomes is proud to announce the opening of its Denver branch in Colorado. This is Apollo’s 4th USA branch with 20 more branches located in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
The location is just minutes away from Denver International Airport, with nearby hotels, restaurants, and shopping. Its central US location means that Apollo now has significant coverage of the Western portion of the country. This opens up many additional popular destinations and one-way options for Apollo customers, including several National Parks and Monuments (Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons National Park, Colorado Rocky Mountains and Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills).
The Denver branch has only recently been built and has immaculate facilities. The branch capabilities include automotive maintenance and repair, body shop (panel beaters), and trained motorhome repair technicians.
